ViewSonic have introduced 4 new notebooks into the UK market. They are the ViewBook 120, 130, Pro and the 140; their names being highly indicative of their screen sizes. The ViewBook 120 comes with a 12.1″ LED screen. Both the 130 and the Pro model come with 13.3″ displays. The ViewBook 140 has a 14″ LED screen.
The highlights of these notebooks are – they all have the Windows 7 Home Premium running within. The Intel ULV or Pentium Duo processors and 2GB RAMs are employed. Multi-touch capable trackpads are supposed to be part of these mobile PCs too. The ViewBook 130 and the ViewBook Pro both have like-sized screens. They differ in that fact that the Pro comes with a DVD SuperMulti burner integrated within.
Most of the other features and specs are expected to be quite mundane, except for the battery life. The ViewBooks boast almost 12 hours of work-life between charges. Thus enhancing its portability quotient. These workstations also have the provision of hot-swapping the batteries, without having to power them down.
